Dear Scout Boats,

I have had quite a few boats over the years starting from an 8′ Dory as a 12-yr-old all the way to 28′ cruisers. We moved to a waterfront home six years ago and decided to purchase a smaller craft. Saw an ad for a 2001 Scout 155 Sportfish w/ 75hp Yamaha, one owner in A-1 condition..so I bought it. I must say for a small boat it is solid, rides great and handles far better than expected…better than Whaler, dryer than McKee and 100% better than any aluminum can boat. Well enough that if we continue to use it a lot, we’ll be purchasing a new 17′ Scout.
