Dear Scout Boats,

We were 78 miles offshore in our Scout 282 SF in 5-6 ft seas that were building, but we decided to keep fishing. A few hours into our trolling we had a Wahoo start blasting line off the reel. He probably took 400 yards of line before he stopped running and we finally brought him to the boat after a 30 minute fight. Even in the seas we were in, we never felt in danger or had any doubt in the ability of the boat. Thank you Scout for building such an impressive fishing platform. We look forward to many years of successful fishing from the Railin’ & Reelin’ and can’t wait to get out there again.
