We took delivery of a beautiful 205 Sportfish late last year and have been 100% happy with the boat!

We were downsizing from a 26 foot Deep Vee flybridge due to the increased cost of mooring and on-water fuel, together with the wish to own a more manueverable boat for fishing around the shoreline and boat moorings of Sydney Harbour as well as chasing schools of Australian Salmon and kingfish busting up on the surface within and outside the harbour. We’ve tricked the boat out with all the options including the T-top, outriggers, 1KW sounder and auto-pilot.

In March 2008 we trailered the boat up to Port Stephens, north of Sydney for a week chasing the Longtail Tuna. We managed some nice kingfish and bonito but it wasn’t until the last day of the trip that we landed a nice 20KG longtail to truly christen the boat!

Everywhere we take the Scout it turns heads – from its “perfect” fishing cockpit to its stylish T-top and shiny blue gelcoat.

Its a pleasure to own!
