Greeting to the Builders of my Scout 255 LXF.You guys know how to build them to last!!Prepping for Hurricane Irma, in my rush to secure my home I forgot to secure my scout, she floated off the boat lift during the storm surge, survived without a scratch…Amazing! Every other boat on my canal either broke their lift or sunk or a combination of both. See pictures….Now resting on the lift as if nothing ever happened. Thanks again for your great, well built product…… Built to survive the storms of life!Sean J.

I bought this boat new in 2008, have never had a problem,…
You may remember my inquiry from July. I was just beginning the process of researching the purchase of a Dorado 275 and you provided me with your perspective on costs as they relate to transporting boats from your mfg facility etc. In any case I was early in the boat buying decision process but was impressed that you had taken the time to speak with me.

This is my third Scout, 141, 145 and now 155. Something about these small Scouts I just love. My new/used 2003 Scout SportFish 155 had filled with water (under the floor).

Back in 1997 my father bought a new Scout 202 Dorado. The Boat was flawless when I sold it in 2012. I called scout in 2011 after considering selling it as I needed some information about the boat as well as some small screws etc, 14 years later; Scout had no problem getting me all information and part.

Hi, I just purchased my third Scout, a 300 LXF, what an awesome looking boat, so many new innovations, like c zone, a true head turner, that can back up the good looks with performance, and a great ride, keep up the great work!
Happy Holidays from the Wieschhorster Family. Thank you for making such a quality boat. Our 187 has provided us with years of great experiences and memories and we are looking forward to many more to come!

“Alan, I have recently purchased a 2014 175 Sportfish, I just wanted let you know how extremely happy I am with my new boat! I did a lot of research before buying, and everything kept bringing me back to Scout. This Boat is excellent in every way possible. Please pass my compliment along to your team as they really do build a great product!”
Thank you Scout and CrewsN2 for a great boat 10 years and running. With years of fishing and fun in the Keys. When not in use as a boat our Scout doubles as a U-Haul to get our stuff to and from vacation.
The GHRI just finished conducting the annual census of the Cayman stingrays in Grand Cayman. This year we were assisted by three vets from the Georgia Aquarium, Tonya Clauss, Lisa Hoopes and Nicole Boucha, to assess the health of the rays by taking blood samples.
Scout Boats is proud to have The University of Alabama championship football coach Nick Saban and family aboard our new 251XS! The Alabama Crimson Tide football program is known for their toughness and has earned the respect of their competitors, just like Scout Baots. It’s great to see one champion recognize another. Roll Tide!…pun intended…and a warm welcome to the entire Alabama Crimson Tide Nation!
This 95 lbs yellow fin tuna was caught off Dorado Puerto Rico on a 30 Lbs test line in our 175 SF Scout and after a strong fight we finally gaffed it. We may not have the biggest boat fishing offshore for big fish. But we got the best.
I just want to take a minute to thank Donna at Scout for her help with my Scout 185 on Monday. She found the part I needed and contacted Mid Carolina Marine to make sure that they got me taken care of. It means a lot when someone takes a personal interest in helping me.
I recently came across this picture from last year of my boat in the Florida Keys and thought ya’ll would like to see it. We were anchored on the ocean side of Islamorada when I took this picture and others of the sunset.
The features that we like most about our Scout Boats 145 Hybrid are the shallow (8”) draft and the 36v electric motors. This combination allows us to escape the busy main channel, and explore the beautiful coves and creeks along the Connecticut River.
