Dear Scout Boats,

I just want to take the time to thank you for building such a great boat. It occured to me today that this will be my 7th season with my 23′ Sportfish (Reel Shady) and I couldn’t be happier. When I first bought the boat in 2003 I had never even heard of Scout, but now I see several out on the Bay. It has become a very popular boat and for a good reason. Your boats are great. I even convinced my doctor who was interested in buying a boat to purchase a Scout (he went out and bought a boat just like mine a week after we went offshore fishing).

You have built the perfect boat for a day out on the water with family and friends. I have so many fond memories of my family and I using the boat for fishing or going out to the beach. The best thing I love about this boat is the draft. I am able to walk the boat right onto the clam beds and go clamming and walk her off without any problems.

Again, thanks for building such a great boat. I wouldn’t trade her in for anything except maybe the new 350 Abaco. I have in the past and will continue to recommend this boat to anyone interested in buying a boat.
