Dear Scout Boats,

My 2004 Scout 175SF was stored on a lift in front of my house in Newport News Virginia, hanging over the mighty James River. At the height of the recent Nor easterner it washed off the lift, floated and was blown 5 miles across this historic river, into the Pagan River, twisted and turned and was eventually washed up into the marsh at Gatling Point Yacht Club…stopping just short of their swimming pool. This boat doesn’t have an automatic bilge pump. Now that’s what I call a seaworthy vessel! All in all, my boat sustained minor damage through the ordeal. My pier is a different story.Thanks Scout for making an incredible boat.
