Dear Scout Boats,

I am a new boat owner and found the perfect boat for me, a 2006 185 Sportfish with a 150 Yamaha 4 stroke. This boat only had 16 hours on it and was in phenomenal condition. I picked my boat up on a Tuesday and was headed down to Happy Jack, Louisiana on Thursday. Since my boat is not yet equipped with a trolling motor, we used it for our afternoon fish. During the afternoons, we anchored on points that ran along deeper channels and chunked cracked crab out into the deeper water. The photo is of the first fish I caught on my new Scout. I am still going to bed with a smile on my face thinking about my maiden voyage, knowing there are many more days like that to come. Thank you Scout for building such a great boat!
