Team Scout’n Reds, Capt. Barry Bowman and Dr. Vic Puleo, took part in the the Oh Boy Oberto! Redfish Cup tournament series televised on ESPN2 in 2004 and again in 2005. We ran the 170 Costa and the 240 Bay Scout in competition from Texas to Florida to Louisiana. These boats were, in a word, outstanding.

The 170 Costa allowed the team to get into really skinny water and slid around tight turns in the Louisiana Delta like it was on rails. The 240 Bay Scout was simply amazing in rough water. Doubly amazing was the fact that this big boat floats so well and allowed us to fish the shallow flats as well. Both boats are loaded with great features.

Thanks Scout for building a line of terrific boats that can handle tournament conditions. If they perform well on the tournament trail, that’s about the toughest test they’ll ever get. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality & extraordinary innovation in their next boat.
