When I bought the 177 my dream was to be able to go with the Scout to French Chausey Islands for fly fishing.

Well…  COVID stopped it all before summer, but this September the weather gave me that opportunity.

This was 15 nautical miles away from the coast, and when the weather is nice it’s a small paradise for boating and fly fishing with this type of boat.

The boat is just the perfect setup, and with my overpowered trolling motor, I’m able to fly fish in deep water current with no stress.

As promised a year ago, here are some pictures of the Scout 177 in Chausey.
