Customer Chronicles

Thank you very much for reaching out for feedback.  We love Scout!  I have communicated over the past year with Kathy Dangerfield when we had questions on our 2017 215XSF.  We had bought from a private party with 60 hours and Kathy was perfect and world-class.  Kathy worked with me on several questions that I had and was delightful.  We decided in February that the 215 was not quite meeting our personal needs after having her for five months, hence the purchase of the 2019 255LXF, which is the boat referenced in your email below.  It was a year-end 2019 that the folks at Legendary, here in Destin, FL, hooked us up with.  Todd and Travis Royall are wonderful ambassadors for your brand.

Like any new product there are some minor issues to be addressed hence the warranty work that had to be done that you reference below in your email.  I measure companies not on the issues, but when there are issues, knowing they will arise, how are they addressed.  I must say that smack in the middle of COVID-19 both Scout and Legendary have stood behind their product.  Most all have been taken care of with one minor item left on the punch list and that is where the waterline rub rail leading edge port side chrome has released from the hull and the screw will not reset in the stripped out hole.  Steve Major in the service area of Legendary and his team are hopefully addressing that repair this week.  On a scale of 1-10, 10 being world-class, I would be hard-pressed to rate you and Legendary less than a 10!  Thank you.

All in all we could not be more happy with our purchase of our Scout!  Who knows, perhaps we jump up next year to a 305LXF…………..
