Scout Boats Customer Chronicle #110

Dear Scout Boats,

I recently took delivery on my 177 Sport and have become more and more impressed with the quality I have seen.  I wanted a quality boat and I obviously purchased the proper one. My latest observation was that everyone of the 87 screw heads attaching the stainless rub rail were aligned in the exact same position. From a functional point, that was really not necessary. If indeed other workers at Scout have the same pride for detail, Scout has a very bright future indeed.

I have attached a photo of the boat beached with a friend, Rudy, on Marco Island, Florida. Rudy has been fishing the east coast for 70+ years and has owned many fishing rigs, including a 50ft custom sport-fish. He agrees with me, the Scout 177 Sport is all about quality in design and finish. I received expert advice from my local dealer, Naples Marina and your factory. Even though I questioned moving up to the 90hp or the 115hp Yamaha, I was convinced by both to stay with the 70hp. My satisfaction was their obvious intent, not making more money on the sale. Thank you again. Quality and obvious care go a long way.

Sincerely,

Robert Branstrator DDS
