Here's how it works....Example: 260SF - First a 21 degree deadrise extends from the keel to the first lifting strake allowing the boat to plane more quickly and run extremely efficiently at cruising and top speeds. The second angle runs between the first and second lifting strake in the middle portion of the hull and increases to a more aggressive 22 degrees providing more stability in rougher conditions and superior spray deflection. Finally, a 23.5 degree deadrise runs from the second lifting strake to the chine which further reduces pounding in heavy chop and swells and, in conjunction with a radical chine angle and flared bow, provides an unsurpassed dry ride.
