The CSI awards are given annually by the National Marine Manufacturers Association. “Scout Boats and our growing worldwide dealer network work tirelessly to achieve the highest customer satisfaction rating possible," said Scout CEO/Founder Steve Potts. “We're honored by this achievement, and we are looking forward to improving upon this even further in the future." The Marine Industry CSI Awards program recognizes participating companies actively measuring customer satisfaction to pursue continuous improvement. Scout Boats achieved and maintained an independently-measured standard of excellence of 90 percent or higher in customer satisfaction over the past year, based on information provided by consumers purchasing a new boat or engine during the period between July 2007 and June 2008. NMMA launched its CSI program in 2001 to provide boat and engine manufacturers with an independently-measured, cost-effective tool to help improve customer satisfaction in the boating industry. Since the program's inception, more than 400,000 surveys have been sent out to new boat and engine customers, allowing participating manufacturer companies to monitor customer satisfaction on an ongoing basis, and to benchmark themselves against the industry and their competitors. Scout builds sportfishing, fish ‘n ski, walk around, flats and bay boat models ranging from 14' to 35'. Since it's founding nearly two decades ago, Scout Boat's goal has been to manufacture the best-built boats in its distinctive sportfishing niches. Each Scout hull is a true original, as the in-house research and design team works closely with engineering to take concepts from blueprint to production more efficiently, growing the company's world-class reputation for quality, strength, durability and value.
