Scout Boats Unveils All New 245 Abaco Series

SUMMERVILLE, SC – Scout Boats has introduced its newest addition to the Abaco Series line: the all new 245 Abaco Series.

This spectacular 24-foot express model incorporates numerous fishing features that make it a true offshore champ including the lighted and aerated 15-gallon baitwell; enormous starboard fish box; and a uniquely- designed pull-out Yeti cooler.

In addition, the 245 features Scout’s revolutionary NuV3 hull design (which is fuel efficient and allows the boat to perform superbly with less horsepower); spacious, self-bailing cockpit; stern wave gate with a functional foldaway stern seat; full windshield; Airmar Deluxe Captains Chairs; Flexi Teak swim platforms; JBL AM/FM stereo with iPod jack and extensive range provided by the 126 gallon fuel tank.

The 245 also features a full complement of important systems including fresh water wash down with s10-gallon tank; raw water wash down; comprehensive gauge package including compass; two high flow bilge pumps; integrated navigation lights; and hydraulic steering.

The ergonomically designed cabin offers comfortable overnight accom-modations for two and features a fully cushioned V-Berth with 4” bunks; butane stove and cold water sink; separate head compartment with sink and manual-pump head with 15- gallon holding tank; interior lighting; rod storage; teak bulkhead; stainless steel ventilated portholes positioned both starboard and port with an overhead hatch; and optional 15” Sole’ flat screen TV/DVD player.

Factory options include a selection of four hull gelcoat colors: Pacific Blue; Heritage Green; Flag Blue; and Sea Foam Green. Other options include a fiberglass hardtop with electronics box, battery charger, full enclosure package and Sirius Satellite Radio.
